just a thread to discuss the possibility of trying to get bands to sell not just their own stuff at gigs and maybe arranging swaps with other bands to get a good range of independent realeases available at gigs.

i realise this alot of hassle for bands but it might be a good idea if someone that goes to most gigs took care of it?

someone mentioned that fact that when there's more stuff available people are more likely to buy something.

didn't someone mention swapping records the other night? that seems like the best way to do it to me...

yeah the other night we just decided that bands would sort it out among themselves. i think we all agreed it was a really good idea, it definitely works.
if it does look like becoming a hassle i'd be happy to look after it for everyone. i go to all your smelly gigs anyway. the option would be for me to have maybe ten records from each band that wanted to be involved and to bring them to gigs and hijack the stall. muahahaha. but like i said, it's just an option.
