Need to digitize everything and get rid of anything physical.

Yes, hold onto vinyl, cassette, 8trk and all that. Digitize and put it away.
Hold onto CD artwork/special packaging etc, digitize, and put into deep storage. Too much of a mess.

Whats the best way to store CDs, Tapes> 8Trk and Vinyl, long term so they don't turn to mush?
Just want all these dust collecting pieces of plastic out of sight, with still having the benefit of being able to look at the art and listening to the tracks.

I need a good clear out myself to be honest. There's stacks of stuff balancing precariously on shelves where there's already stacks of stuff.

My collection is all over the gaf.Fucking records in the wrong sleeves,soaked in gargle you name it.Thankfully,I'm the type of person who gets a record,listens to it compulsivley till I cant stand it and then fucks it to the back.

I keep threatening to get rid of about a thousand lp's but always bottle it.
