This Sunday sees the third visit to the 'Bird from Belfast boy Hornby.
He's appeared before as a member of the rockin' We Are Knives and as
his loop-based alter ego Selah. This time around, he calls himself
CASTRATI, and will be using a no-input mixing board and other toys to make
a variety of drones and beats. Recommended to fans of Toshimaru Nakamura,
Sachiko M and other similar lowercase types.

Right, bad news and good news. First, the bad: we only found out a few hours ago that Hornby can't make it down to play tonight, so we're afraid that his Castrati gig will have to be rescheduled. And we probably won't be able to find another act in time, so if anyone goes down to the International later and finds no Lazybird, that's why. Sorry about all of this.

The good news: Radio-Inactivity is still going ahead, playing right now on http://www.powerfm.org with Paul at the controls.

hmm i guess the fact castrati couldn't make it is kinda good news for me. wasn't able to go, but really wanted to. hopefully the gig will be rescheduled soon
