Anyone gone about getting their gear insured? I figure i've a few grand's worth now, should really go about getting proper insurance for it. Any companies anyone can reccomend?

You can get things like cameras, laptops and bikes added to your house insurance in such a way that they're covered when they're not in the house.

I had my laptop on my mom's house insurance a few years back for something like €20 a year.

i *think* home insurance is void if you are making money from your camera gear.

Think your right there on the making money bit definately the case if your pro. My stuff's on my mums house insurance.
