Good Afternoon to you all,

We have made a few last minute bookings for you to check out all at nice admission prices and all very interesting we are sure you'll
agree. First up we have Pablo/Butch Cassidy Sound System on Friday 21st July. The film screening of the follow-up to Keepintime 'Brasilintime' has just been confirmed for The Lobby Bar on Thursday 27th July. Sweden's excellent Producer/Dj Freddie Cruger has been confirmed for RiRa on August 11th and there are some other bits of information there too. The website has been updated with charts, news, gigs, audio and video so have a look when you get a chance.
Finally we have some copies of Cut Chemist's new LP 'The Audience's Listening' to give away as well as a copy of a Gnarls Barkley promo10'' vinyl that is sure to become a collectable. Read on for competition details...

Pablo (aka Butch Cassidy Sound System - the Scottish wonder producer) who is notorious for his Cissy Strut reworking, his contributions to the Grand Theft Auto game and his excellent Butches Brew LP is makin a welcome return to RiRa on Friday 21st July. Anyone who was there for the last show he played will know the deal. Super funky breaks and loops remixed live with excellent hip hop and reggae flavours. Don't sleep on this excellent night! Upstairs will see Johnny Boyle of Road Records mix it up for the revellers. Only €5 before 12 by the way!

Brasilintime Irish Screening with B+, Eric Coleman and DJ Nuts

A late booking and a great one, Brian Cross (B+) is coming over to present an exclusive screening of his Brasilintime documentary. The film stars, Cut Chemist, Mamao (Azymuth), Babu, Madlib, JRocc, James Gadson, Derf Reklaw and many more. This screening will be held in The Lobby Bar (located between the POD and Crawdaddy) on Thursday 27thJuly (Doors 7.30pm, Screening 8.30pm). There will also be a Q&A afterwards as well as an afterparty with DJ Nuts, B+ and Coleman on the 1's & 2's....

Freddie Cruger (GAMM/Jugglin')

Sweden's multi-talented producer and DJ will be coming to Ireland for a DJ set to tie in with the launch of his new LP Soul Search which will be coming out on Tru Thoughts this side of the pond with Ubiquity looking after the release on the other. We have had the LP for the last couple of months and its excellent. Loads of
collaborations highlighting Freddie's varied styles. Check out some
of Freddie's singles on the website as well. Only &euro;5 before 12
and a must see for fans of Mad Mats, Gamm Records and quality music. Support from Fonetick and upstairs is being held down by Johnny Boyle of Road Records.

Competition: New Cut Chemist CD to give away plus a few other bits.

The good folks over at Warner Records have given us four copies of the new Cut Chemist LP to give away on CD. Just tell us what group Cut Chemist used to DJ with and produce for and if you're a lucky winner we'll mail the CD to you. We've also got a copy of the new Gnarls Barkley 10'' promo to give away. Let us know which group Cee-Lo was a part of in the mid-to-late 90s and that'll be yours too.

The excellent Dublin Electronic Arts Festival will be taking place

DJ Scope playing in Galway & Limerick this weekend

DJ Scope will be playing down in De Burgo's (Galway) on Friday 14th July and will aided by The Hideous Penguin, Saturday 15th he's in Limerick's Trinity Rooms outside in the courtyard. Limericks soul funk brother A2DF will be joining Scope for this gig so expect a big party for both nights.

Rizm playing in Soulclap this Friday 14th July 2006

After an insane SoulClap at the beginning of July ChoiceCuts' Rizm is back at it again downstairs in Hogan's for yet another free-in SoulClap. You know the drill at this stage - plenty of hiphop, soul and funk glued together with a sprinkle of reggae. Music starts at 10pm
