Boxcutter is the pseudonym for Barry Lynn (born 1980), an electronic musician from Northern Ireland whose work, due to its bass-led and rhythmically 2-step nature, is often categorized as dubstep, although in style and idiosyncrasies has more in common with IDM artists such as Squarepusher and µ-Ziq.

(Shatterfreak + Welfare)
Irish bassmusic duo Subversus (SubVersion Recordings) consists of dubstep & jungle DJ/producer, Electronic Resistance founder and Radio na Life clinician Welfare, along with Stomp Dublin's dubstep production supremo Shatterfreak.
Their self declared motto is that "Subversus exists to give two bass junkies a viable outlet for their addictions
The pair slayed several venues around Ireland with some serious bass rumbles in the early summer summer prior to Welfare's disappearance, and are scheduled to return to the scene with new material at this gig
