This is good

Unfairly dismissed by a number of critics, Two Minute Warning is an absorbing contemplation of the phenomenon of violence. Based on a novel by George LaFountaine, the story concerns an anonymous (and, until the very end, faceless) sniper perched above the scoreboard at a championship football game in Los Angeles. His lack of identity and unstated motivation is key to the film's air of cautionary fable, in which the killer's rage is one end of a continuum that includes many different kinds of violence among numerous characters: emotional withdrawal, police brutality, subtle racism, chips on various shoulders

you'd be sorted if you were sharing a flight over the andes with either of these two, and the plane came down, you could live like a king for a month on their forearms alone.

'Excuse me Sir. Would you mind stowing your blubbage in the overhead compartment. I can't open my little table because your ankle fat is in the way. Oh and I don't mean to be a pest but your crotch blob seems to be devouring my legs......'

Worst job in the world:
Airport Security, having to perform a full body and cavity search on either of them. Just imagine the size of the dingleberries!

This is the review of steerage's EP on cluas.com. Did you take that front sleeve picture Pantone? Thought it said some website on the sleeve....

If you like Moody you'll surely dig Fiachra McCarthy's seascape sleevework on Steerage's new EP. With its evocative grey waves booming against an even greyer wharf, it demonstrates a certain harmony with the music, in terms of quality and intent.
Steerage are a Dublin based three piece dealing in guitar/bass/drums instrumentals. The EP's musicianship is top notch, with bass player Conor Rapple and skinsman Brian O'Higgins getting the right balance between driving things forward while laying down a solid base for Donnchadh Hoey's diverse and gorgeously fluid guitar lines. Hoey can really put licks together-there are hints of John Barry overtones but not overly so. It's Hoey who gives the music its colour and shape.

'Cyrus Kleever' is the EP's standout, a brooding soundpiece that avoids shortcut musical clichés - if it's intended as a film soundtrack I can't wait to see the movie. The rest of the EP's tracks - 'No two strings are the same', 'Is this thing on?' and 'One trip around the sun' are very good in a Durutti Column / Let's Active / Love Tractor kinda way but the three tracks are absolutely crying out for a human voice. They're a musical tease, you almost hold your breath waiting for a voice to be heard over the twists and turns and loops of Steerage's melodies, and any singer worth his / her salt would die to put down vocal tracks over this band's intriguing arrangements.

'Smash them all to bits' is a fine debut by a promising outfit - don't shout it too loud but a half decent vocalist would seal the Steerage deal.

CHAD Hoey wrote that review... with Feelmeup McCarthy... and Conor Rapist threw in a few words too.

Steerage's old vocalist wasn't great... but thinking about it now, I think he was. His sister was kind of hot.
