the 13 shades of Lonnie Donegan I believe... or possibly the 13 lucky shades... I'm not sure... okay I'll give it a spin... but on your head be it!

The Cars is amazing, 'Just What I Needed' and 'Best Friends Girl' are total power pop genius. Some of it gets very OTT, especially in the wooshy synth department. Deadly but.

Smashing stuff, "Best Friend's Girl". The muted power chords during the opening remind me of The Jesus Lizard's "Then Comes Dudley", though not for long.

And what about that rockabilly guitar break? It's so compressed the instrument sounds like a synth. The whole thing reminds me of Vincent Hanley's glory days...

does it mean spelling incorrect?
if so why does it usually follow words that appear to be spelt correctly?

sic

\Sic\, adv. [L.] Thus.

Note: This word is sometimes inserted in a quotation [sic], to call attention to the fact that some remarkable or inaccurate expression, misspelling, or the like, is literally reproduced.

don't have to be a misspelling it seemeth (sic).
