Following the postponement of the Lisdoonvarna Festival, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy (featuring Will Oldham, Cynthia Hopkins, Aram Stith and Chris Freeland) will play a one-off show at Vicar on Friday June 27.
This will be his only Irish date this summer and one of a handful of European dates this summer including some shows in Sweden and an appearance at the Roskilde festival.
Special guests will be The Anomoanon (Ned Oldham) and Goodtime John (full band).
Tickets are on sale now from usual outlets (Road Records, City Discs) and for the benefit of people outside of Dublin and overseas tickets will be available from Ticket Master outlets nationwide and www.ticketmaster.ie Tickets are priced 20 euro plus booking fee (please note that booking fee will vary depending on point of purchase). This is a reserved seating show.
