Described by NME editor Ben Knowles as a "spaced beautiful narcotic adventure into the 72% of the human brain we don't normally use", Blue Ghost -consisting of Jeremy Hickey and David Holland - have been writing and performing their own brand of sonic mayhem for the last 7 years, fusing funk and beats so uniquely that put them in a league of their own. Always a sell-out crowd when they play in Kilkenny, they received rave reviews with their first English tour in May 2004 and more recently with their performance at the Electric Picnic in August with a live brass section. They are nearly finished their first album and should have their first single out in the new year.

On Friday, 16th Dec they will play their first gig since the Electric Picnic, along with:
"a safe dry place"(www.asafedryplace.com) and "the Kilo"
in the Pumphouse, Parliament St.
Should be a fantastic show,
Hope to see you there!

Bumply Bump Bop.
Tis on tomorrow night, so for anyone looking to escape the drudgery of life in the big city - come down to ye fair old humble Kilkenny Town, where the grass is as green as the people are friendly and the people are........yeah.

.....fun.
