too true. now that I've realised that pretty much all those items
of clothing and accessories I've wished for are somewhere there.. I'm
doomed. I've been spending the last few nights bidding on ebay in my dreams.

Yes indeed... I was at some gig in this basement place and couldn't relax
all night because of the worry that some sloshed dolly bird was going
to step on my lovely red shoes...most traumatising.
most of the night i had to adopt a doorman type stance holding
the crowd on either side of me away from my shoes...

you can clean suede with a brush and steam, usually pretty effictively. But anything pale blue will be more susceptible to staining I suppose.
