never been massively familiar with the man's music but I'm reading his (amazing) book "My Fault" at the moment and it's making me want to check out his tunes. I'm given to understand he's made over 100 records though. What ones do I start with?

25 years of being childish i think is a really good starting point.
also did a good record called 'in blood' with holly golighty whos playing here soon.

I would recommend Thee Headcoats 'Earls of Suavedom' LP from about 1990. It's a stomper.
