Layla! I concur, the ending is waaay better than the rest of the song, although radio never plays the ending.

Dinosaur Jrs version of The Cure's Just Like Heaven has a great ending. It just stops all of a sudden mid-scream. Loadsa Pavement songs end brilliantly, particularly one or two off Wowee Zowee

i love the way hotel california ends. that's the best bit about the song.
