This fecker crawled up beside me while I was lying on my bedroom floor!

I trapped him (I think it's a male house spider...) in a CD case, here he is with an English penny for scale.

He was evicted soon after this photo was taken and is currently looking for a new squat...

I never saw any spider move so fast, it says on Wikipedia they are the fastest spiders in the world... He only seems to have four little black eyes in a row and two red where his face meets his fangs

It is a house spider but it's a female. You can tell the sex by the palps (those two leg-like appendages at the front). Males have swollen palps which make it look like they're wearing boxing gloves. Males are also smaller than females. If anyone has any other spider pics, please post them!
