that was the bit that confused me too . I think the translation was bad .


ok , so there was three of them , noriko , shuya and shogo left . and shogo points the gun at the two of them . next thing you know shogo is in the headquarters with mr kitano ( the teacher ) . but then noriko and shuya come along . why are they not dead ?

because shogo somehow fixed the necklace thingys they were wearing so they wouldn't explode . he pretended to shoot the two of them as there were microphones on the collars so it would seem like he was the last one left - or all three of them would die anyway .

does it make sense now ?
