Beat Takeshi = Fucking amazing
Battle Royale = Rules, especially for Beat Takeshi who is obviously the best character in it
Battle Royale 2 = A big huge pile of shite (except for the one scene Beat Takeshi is in)
Zaitochi = Heard it was amazing can't wait to see it because all Beat Takeshi's films rule (If you don't believe me watch Violent Cop or Brother or Hana Bi actually watch Hana Bi.)
The Killer/Hard Boiled/A Better Tomorrow = All fucking amazing, as are pretty much all the Chow Yun Fat/John Woo Hong Kong gangster films, fuckin brilliant
The Killer = The best gun film ever made (even above Hard Boiled I reckon).
Chow Yun Fat = Fuckin class, but get out of Hollywood
John Woo = What the hell happened to you? Get out of Hollywood!

I liked Face/Off actually.... despite Cage...

Yeah okay, so Face/Off is the one film that has come close to reproducing John Woo's Hong Kong work. But even then I found it mostly hilarious more than amazing. I mean, John Travolta? The end fights were dead good though.

face/off is possibly the worst film i have ever seen - there's scientifically unsound for the sake of the plot and then there's SCIENTIFICALLY UNSOUND FOR THE SAKE OF THE BLEEDIN PLOT WHICH WAS A TERRIBLE PLOT ANYWAY. the dvd of it is double sided because it's so damn long - i ended up fast forwarding through the last half hour. woeful.
