I'm a guitarist looking for a bassist and drummer to start an indie rock band.

Bands I've been listening to a lot of recently are:

Pavement, Minutemen, REM, Built To Spill, Japandroids, Chavez, Fennesz and Fugazi.

A DIY mentality and an interesting music taste are important regardless of proficiency, age or equipment.

Hey Pancho,

I'm looking to get back into a band. I was travelling for a year and some of the members of my old band have since left the country, so im looking to get back into rehearsing and gigging.

We've some tunes up on our old myspace, so you can get an idea on what im like. http://www.myspace.com/jackofspeed , generally rock stuff, quite radio friendly, but I'm very interested in post rock and a lot of instrumental stuff too: Explosions in the Sky, God Is an Astronaut, Caspian, Mogwai, QOTSA, ASIWYFA, LITE, Kyuss, This Will Destroy You, Red Sparrows, Pelican, Russian Circles...

I'm 26 and also based in the center of town.

Also, the bassist from my old band is still in Dublin, I'll see if he is up for it too.
