Bass player needed for Dublin city centre "band" (name withheld to discourage plagiarism, ahem). Our current bassist has gone done fucked off to San Fran because he's a corporate whore (yeah you heard me Emmet, DAMN YOU!).
So, there are two of us left, staring at the floor, drawing circles in the dirt with our feet, looking sheepish. Baaaah.
We've been "practising" for a couple of years now, got some great tunes that could do with being touched up a bit (snigger). We have our own practising room in the dead centre of Dublin, fairly cheap. We have ok equipment (snigger), we meet on most Tuesday nights to practise but that can be extended if we're making good sounds. We're looking for a bass player with good experience that knows his or her way around a mixing desk better than we do. Anyway, before I bore myself writing anymore get in touch.
Oh yeah, we're looking for someone late 20s early 30s. We play heavy guitar sounds. Bit of a bastard mix between Stooges, Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Interpol and the Ronettes. Sounds like stuff you heard before? You're weird.
