el palau de la musica? nah, that would be insane, she's not that big yet... can you imagine though, wow. apparently tindersticks played a three hour gig there years ago.

it's the place sufjan played in november, it's a little old local theatre, called the casino de l'aliança, about 800 people. they only do 3 or 4 commercial gigs there a year, it's usually neighbourhood type events like cute old people dancing.

sounds deadly. i disagree about joanna newsom though, EST played the Palau and filled it and they arent exaclty huge (in the commercial sense of the word). id say she'd sell it out or at least make a return on it.

I did hear a rumour that ATP -v- The Fans is only so, as Kevin Shields pulled out at the last minute but is already up for curating next year's Weekend One.
