I think they just might. Can't believe its come to this.... even though I can. And thats not just the pints talking. I've supported them through thick and thin (mostly thin) since their FA Cup days in the early eighties. And where's it got me?!

I don't think they will, but it's really tight at the bottom (fanar fanar) this year.

At the moment, I don't think anyone from Fulham down is safe. And Fulham are in 9th. Blackburn, third from bottom, have 23 points after 23 games so you could well need 38 points to stay up.

Hull are dropping like a stone. I don't think it was a good idea bollixing the players out of it at half time in front of the crowd. And they've spent heavily. Could be back to league 1 (after admin) for them(!)

I think Stoke are shite and will be found out more and more as the season goes on, but fair balls for getting as high up as they are.

I think West Brom could well stay up. At least they're making an effort. And they're used to this stuff.

Spurs have Harry, who knows the score.

I think Newcastle are on shakier ground having lost Given now as well, and not having any defenders to speak of.

Portsmouth as well. Adams was a bad choice for manager.

Blackburn will probably kick their way out of it.

I think Man City have too much quality to go down, especially with Given in now.

Sunderland to stay up. Manager seems to have stopped the rot and isn't a total nut.

Fulham realistically safe. They're good argument for taking 4 teams out of the Premiership though. !ninjaaaa

How do you do tables in thumped?

T'is tough times Jim and no mistaking.

I posted this [possible points haul] on another forum when we had 20pts on the board:

Wigan (A) 1
Portsmouth (H) 3
Stoke (H) 3
Bolton (A) 0
Arsenal (H) 1
Hull (A) 1
Sunderland (A) 1
Middlesbrough (H) 3
Aston Villa (A) 0
Chelsea (H) 0
Blackburn (A) 1
West Ham (H) 3
Newcastle (H) 1
Man Utd (A) 0
West Brom (H) 3
Everton (A) 0
Man City (H) 3
Liverpool (A) 0

To see us finish on 44pts and safe. We're -3 on that tally already, need a huge performance next weekend against the dark side.

As long as Portsmouth go down I don't care !

Backed them at 14-1 to go down one game after Harry left and it became obvious that Adams hadn't a clue what he was doing.
