Myself and my boyfriend have just gone sale agrred on a house (woo hoo) which needs a lot of work, including a 1st floor extension to the rear. I've been looking around at some architects websites to get an idea of some of their designs but most of the websites just show their commercial stuff. In fact a lot of them don't seem to have a bloody website at all.

So, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good innovative architect who won't cost the earth.

Alternatively, does anyone know of any websites where I can see pictures of modern, well designed, 'daring' house extensions where I can get inspired!

Try www.riai.ie they are the governing body for architects in Ireland and any good architect (nomatter what they specialise in) should be a member of the RIAI (Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland). I think you can search their site for architects by location.
