Fiddle-playing, house music-making, loopstation-tweaking, button-pushing, hair-flicking bundle of energy Daithi has today announced his biggest headline show to date, which will take place in the Button Factory this coming March 21st.

We all have that special song that makes us feel like a rockstar, the one you play on your Mp3 as you walk down the streets in rhythm thinking hell yeah! The one that turns your life into a music video for a few minutes. Here is Daithi. A fiddle-playing, house music-making, loopstation-tweaking, button-pushing, hair-flicking bundle of energy.

You might recognise him from his brushes with TV talent shows (TG4’s The All-Ireland Talent Show). Or his appearances the length and breadth of Ireland (to crammed festival tents, or supporting the likes of DJ Shadow, Santigold, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, De La Soul and Todd Terje). Or you might have heard some of his studio excursions with various members of the countryís close-knit underground community (Elaine Mai, Liza Flume, Monto, the Breaking Bread collective).

After dominating the sound of the summer with his hit track ‘Chameleon Life’ Daithi is back with the brand new single ‘Case Closed’ Feat. Senita. Daithi is one of the most exciting Irish acts of the moment, with his unique brand of dance music that incorporates live fiddle and energetic beats.

Already a favourite of bloggers and tastemakers, Daithi is generating an exciting buzz in the music world. Wrapping up 2013, both singles featured in the Nialler9 Reader’s Top 30 songs of the year, with Chameleon Life at #7 and Case Closed making it in at #21, despite only being released two weeks!

2014 is set to be another MASSIVE year for Daithi, starting with the premier of the brand new VIDEO for Case Closed.

"Due to recording commitments Daithi’s headline show here at the Button Factory this Friday, 21st March will now take place on Saturday 19th April. Tickets for the original date remain valid or if you’re unable to attend the new date, you can get a refund from your point of purchase."
