anyone got a spare pick? (1 Viewer)

thats a bit crazy.

i've been playing €5 picks recently. x-music sell these large wood plecs, really thick and have a hole in the middle. they're really comfy but the main thing is how distinct the different types of wood sound - ebony is super bright, beechwood is more mellow and rosewood is in the middle. thay last ages too.

I tried a couple of wood picks a while ago,but broke one,so gave up on that. Played around with metal picks but they kept destroying my strings. Fianlly settled on V-Picks and love them. The one I use is 2.75mm thick, costs 3euro each but seem to be lasting really good.

I just use .73 dunlops. All I've ever used. They wear out fairly quick but they're cheap and are good for fast picking.
Also, they're kind to strings when playing live and excitement causes you to thrash a bit too hard.
