Well... Wilco, Mazzy Star, Beirut and Andrew Bird was enough to make me buy a ticket. I'm skint but that's what credit is for, right? I'll be happy I did it on the day. Plus it's an easy walk home to my bed instead of some poxy tent. Now I have something to put on my calendar.
 
While I don't think a festival like Forbidden Fruit is the ideal showcase for him (though I'd say the same for Atlas Sound), I'm glad he's coming back.

The new album is impressive - even still, I've been surprised by the reaction: 5 stars in the Guardian!
Thought Armchair and Mysterious Production of Eggs were stronger but as he says himself, it's been a slow build.

He seems like an interesting guy, though - fairly intense and serious with a mad backstory of a career:
