amp repair in dublin (1 Viewer)

Amp repair people/places I know of:

Aladdin's Amps, out in the suburbs someplace (Mark) 086-2490940
Sound Gear, Portobello 01-4755794
Conor Farren, Abbey School of Music, Abbey St, 01-8747909

Used all 3, all have been pretty good, the Aladdin guy was the quickest

These guys are a joke. They replaced a speaker on one of our amps with too small a wattage. When we brought it back to them they said "oh some idiot has installed a speaker with too small a wattage". Never seen anyone backtrack so fast.

alladain is a good guy ccept last time i had my bassman repaired i got one gig out of it and then it crapped out after a bumpy ass car ride down to limerick where i got no gig out of it...could be just something simple cos everything lights up and shit (no sound) but i think i'm gonna take it to someone else to get it repaired. dunno why i haven't bothered getting it repaired in the last 2 years. solid state practise amps are just so deadly i guess.

gary sloan has the number for a guy on the norhtside who's the official marshall repairerer or something. i'm sure he'll post here
