Hey guys,
Got some time this weekend so I built an amp......in a can of beans. Went for a Marshally kinda sound!! Got most of the parts from a project radio.
I'd be interested to see what you guys think? Link below.
Regards,
Paul.

Sounds exactly like my one of these:

Gis a shot o'that!! They'd be mad handy to have around the gaff. How easy, affordable was the whole project?

Cool name!!

Cost would be about €11, the tin of beans is the single most expensive item!!

The BOM is
  • 386 opamp
  • opamp socket
  • 9Vdc adapter
  • perf board
  • componants (resistors caps etc.)
  • mini speaker
  • bit of cardboard
  • jack
  • 10k pot
I got the opamp, speaker, pot and componants from a radio so they cost me nothing.
It's an easy build, anyone with soldering skills could do it.

My soldering skills are some where akin to that of a retarded badger. Would you be willing to make me one and I could sort you out with the cash and a tin of beans.
