Anybody into improvised music, or anyone who has ever been curious about it, should get themselves down to the Project this Friday and Saturday (October 26th & 27th) to see AMM, the undisputed masters of free improv. Even if your experience has been of pretentious non-players scraping and bowing at random, go to see AMM 'cos they will change your mind.
Friday evening has a workshop group lead by Eddie Prevost playing, and also a solo table-top guitar show by Keith Rowe. (8pm)
Saturday has the full AMM gig thing going on - guitar, percussion, piano. (8pm)
Also, for those with an interest in Morton Feldman and Cornelius Cardew and modern piano music, John Tilbury will give a lunch time talk on Friday (12pm) and a lunchtime performance on Saturday (1pm) on those very things.
There are also a few places still available for anybody wanting to join Eddie's workshop group.
Phone Project on 01-679-6622 for bookings and info.
