Anyone see this yet? I went last week. It's stunning. Wonderfully acted, with a very natural pace to the narrative, A beautiful set design too. Len Cariou is just amazing. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Check it out immediately.

Do you have to book tickets for this or do you think there would be tickets on the door if you turned up on like a Monday or Tuesday night?

I wouldn't risk it.
It seems to be sold out for the rest of this week.

If it's sold out & you turn up at the door there's always the chance of getting tickets from people who don't show up but you'll have to wait until the last minute before you know if you're getting in or not.

perhaps it was just the night i attended but there's no way i'd classify this as must see theatre. for me it was far too 'intelligently' acted and produced, more an academic exercise than emotionally engaging. left me fairly cold.

saw the abbey production of it a few years back...the set design then was a major talking point too..excellent notes inthe programme about the development of the contingency era...millers so interesting

High end stuff.
A couple of minor characters have wandering accents but more than made up for with the strength of the leads and the quality of the material.
The set is a winner alright.

If Chapter One is booked for pre-theatre, there's a place called Louie's on Mountjoy Sq that does really good food at reasonable prices.
If you're making a night of it like.
