Adding sound effects to MP3s (1 Viewer)

Hello
Any idea of the easiest way to add sound effects to MP3s? I want to put stuff like gunshots and whip cracks etc. onto a tune, and just wondered what might be the best way of doing this kind of thing on a Mac.

Any suggestions?

you need to multitrack it like a song.

open garageband and import the mp3, the add the sound effects as another track and put them where you want them, then share to itunes.
