32% strength beer (1 Viewer)

Upon further investigation it seems the drink I had was actually only 11% ABV which doesn't sound nearly as exciting. It is Vetter 33 that advertises itself as the strongest beer in the world, apparently at one stage (1994 Guinness Book Of Records) this was correct but it has long since been surpassed. I remember arguing with my friend that there was no way it was 33% but she insisted. It tasted nearly like a Sherry.
ugh, i had some ~12% beer (engel?) waiting for a ferry in calais ("a grim and desperate town" - lonely planet) and it tasted like syrup. if i want 12% i'll drink wine, 30+% i'll go with spirits.

In total agreement with you here Nools.

Theres no need for disgusting beer.

I'll usually go to about 5.2 abv in a beer.4 if I'm just chilling with some suds.
Cider if I want 6-8 normally.
Wine 9-14 depending on how gargled I wanna get.
Spirits....occaisonally.

How you getting on in that Lahndan Wobs?

Cool and groovy I hope!
