Alright punks.

We are going to do a 24 hour fast outside the Greek Embassy on Upper Pembroke Street in solidarity with those imprisoned in Greece at the moment.

We are meeting up at the Kildare St entrance of the Dáil at midday on Tuesday 25th Nov and will then march to the Greek embassy where the fast will begin.

Anyone is free to join us on this march (and is also welcome to join in our fast)

We need support from as many people as possible. The 5 hunger strikers were arrested and imprisoned after a large demonstration during the Greek presidency of the EU earlier this year.

Although it is mainly anarchists involved in these solidarity demos, we would appreciate help and support from anyone. Many Irish people have been to large demos in places like London, Prague, Evian, and Genoa - and could have been arrested and imprisoned in a similar fashion to these people.

Please come down at any time over the 24 hours and lend your support. Bring anything you think we could do with - e.g. blankets, freshly filled hot water bottles, battery powered radios, whatever!

We need as many people as possible to come to this tomorrow. Even if people could turn up at the Dail and march to the embassy with us, it would be greatly appreciated. We'll be there all day, freezing our arses off from about 1pm on Tues till the same time on Wed. If anyones around, come up and keep us company, bring us tea, taunt us by waving food at us ...
