singer and songwriter from Standard Fare (RIP) is releasing a solo album soon. This is a re-record of an old song for the album.

nearing the end of my first listen to the Panda Bear album, really liked it based on one listen.

not as good as person pitch. better than tomboy seems to be general consensus from the little bits i've heard/read about. seems about right

Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson's The Art of Mirrors: Homage to Derek Jarman is absolutely gorgeous. I can't find a sound sample online but it's basically soundscape/ambient stuff but not like your usual soundscape/ambient stuff. I might be biased being a massive Coil/Throbbing Gristle fan but this is something else.

had a listen to that album over the weekend after reading a really positive review. on one listen thought it was really underwhelming. on the same underwhelming scale as FKA Twigs.
hah, I thought of FKA Twigs too when I listened to it, but I liked FKA Twigs.

That song 'River' reminded me a bit of Lady Lamb Beekeeper and Tuneyards (a little). Gonna give the full album a blast today.
