Its quite scary how many of the 'top tips for 2011' are being compared to the XX.

Its gonna be another shit year isn't it....

also, I was thinking about the gigs I went to in 2010. I reckon at least 95% of them were to go see bands/acts that I'd seen before. There was almost nothing new. I reckon if it wasn't for popical island and Foggy Notions I wouldn't have heard of any new bands whatsoever.
