2 p/t jobs 1 p45? (1 Viewer)

Hi, help much appreciated. As the title suggests I have just scored 2 p/t jobs one is 16hrs a week and the other is 10hrs. Which one do I give my p45 to? Am I going to have to deal with the tax office directly? Will I be really overtaxed in one of the jobs? I'm a stuuuuudent now, does that get me out of paying tax? Cheers for any advice

call the tax office. they're ususally very helpful.

you dont need to give you p45 to either these days. your pps number should do it. the tax office will split your credits

the problem there is that the tax office would give them all to one of the employments

best once you're registered to contact tax office and maybe allocate the tax credits accordingly

cheers for all the help, I have it sorted now, was a teeny bit afraid of the tax office but when I rang the guy was nice but dim and sorted me right out
