Well it’s just 2 days now to OFFSET2010 and we can’t wait.

HAVEN’T GOT YOUR TICKET YET?

WEEKEND PASSES:
Weekend tickets now available for the great value price of 180 euro / 120 student/unwaged.
Group discount of 5 for 4 is still available, meaning tickets are still cheaper than our early bird price at 144euro a go.
All people with weekend tickets will be given special wristbands which guarantee access all weekend and get you free into the OFFSET party Saturday night in the Twisted Pepper, capacity allowing.
All student tickets must be accompanied by a valid, current ID. These wristbands are non-transferable, any evidence of tampering or sharing bands could result in delegates not being admitted to the venue.

DAY TICKETS:
A very limited amount of 1 day tickets will be available at the Grand Canal Theatre each day priced 70 euro & 50 student/unwaged. To buy these just turn up to the venue at any time over the weekend, the earlier the better.
Day ticket holders do not get wristbands or free entry into the OFFSET party but are free to enjoy everything else.

HAVE YOUR TICKET AND ARE READY TO GO?

GETTING TO THE VENUE:
Situated overlooking the Grand Canal Dock, in the centre of Dublin, Grand Canal Theatre is well served by public transport, with Bus, Rail, LUAS and DART services all within a 20 minute (max) walk from the venue. There are limited parking facilities around the venue, so check out the AA Parking Guide for details. More details on our VENUE section of our site.

REGISTRATION AND DOOR TIMES:
We will be open from 8.30am on Friday morning to allow for early registration before the first speaker at 10am.
Registration runs all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we’re ready when you are.
The doors will be open from 9am on Saturday and Sunday.
The main stage opens each day to delegates 20 minutes before the first speaker (9.40am) with the second room programming kicking off at 11am each morning.

SEATS:
Your ticket gets you full access to all the rooms and areas open during the weekend. These include the main stage and second room but also the foyer and Circle Club where we encourage you to hang out and socialise with other delegates.
Seats are not assigned per ticket holder so feel free to explore the venue and sit wherever you like.

SPEAKER LINEUP & RUNNING TIMES:
The full schedule for both rooms and foyer activity is now available to view on our SCHEDULE page and also in the complimentary brochure you will receive upon your arrival.
Please note that while everything has been signed off and we are confident of the weekend running smoothly and to plan, things may change so listen out to all announcements made on both stages throughout the day and you’ll be fully updated.
We would encourage all delegates to come down as early as possible to support the speakers presenting.
If you would like to plan the talks you would like to attend across the 2 rooms you can download a abridged version of the brochure HERE.

FOOD & DRINK:
The venue café will be open from first thing each day and will remain open all day serving a range of hot and cold drinks, pastries and other snacks.
There is a special lunch special each day of sandwich, hot drink and crisps for 7 euro.
A full bar will be running from lunchtime for those of you who want something stronger.
Alcoholic drinks are not allowed into the main room but delegates are allowed to bring in other drinks, we would ask you take any rubbish with you when you leave.

MERCHANDISE:
There will be a full merchandise stand selling books and magazines by speakers including George Lois, Espo, Wooster Collective, Steven Heller, Chris Haughton and many others, t-shirts for boys and girls including some from Turtlehead and Arms, and there will be a limited amount of other items including prints from illustrator Alan Clarke.

CLOAKROOM:
There will be a full cloakroom onsite for the weekend costing 2 euro per item left in per day.

STAFF, SECURITY & USHERING:
There will be a lot of staff working over the weekend to ensure your stay is as enjoyable and inspiring as possible.
To make the experience as social and safe as possible please work with all staff whenever you are asked to, thanks.
If we can help in any way just talk to any member of staff and we will do our best to make it happen.

SOCIAL NETWORKING:
We wholeheartedly encourage as many people as possible to post their comments about the event on Facebook, Twitter and all other social networks you use.
OFFSET2010 on Facebook.
OFFSET2010 on Twitter…we would encourage you to use the hashtag #OFFSET2010 when doing tweets!

REAL WORLD SOCIAL NETWORKING:
There will plenty of informal opportunites for everyone to meet each other over the 3 days.
We have 2 interactive projects in the foyer of Grand Canal Theatre:
Lost in Translation brought to you by Synth Eastwood and AGBC Architects.
An Alternative City a workshop with Original Print and Red&Grey Design.
With plenty of debates, panel discussions and interviews/Q&A’s in The Irish Times Second Room.

For those of you who like to dance and drink whilst you do your networking we have that covered from DJ Shadow and Trainwreck on Friday night, the OFFSET2010 Official Party on Saturday to closing drinks in The Bernard Shaw on Sunday. All details are in the EVENTS section.

Ok…lets get this party started…See you nice and early on Friday!
