    UK DEBill Passes. Fuck.

Still don't get it... What exactly is the tax on? I mean, at what point is it being paid? On CDs? On legal downloads? In your ISP bill? On everyone's payslip? If the latter, then you have private corporations guessing how much money they're losing, and telling the government to extract money...

    UK DEBill Passes. Fuck.

Are you sure of that? And, would a "content tax" mean that they then make it legal to torrent albums? So should they use data from private corporations (ISPs) to 'meter' content-usage? Are the heaviest users not the most likely people to be able to circumvent any sort of tracking? I'm not...

Michael Knight Album Launch May 3rd Sugar Club

Well done, Sir Knight.. and good luck with the rest of the gigs this week. I'll be looking forward to the next one, but I won't hold my breath because I presume you will take a few months writing a new album and not the about 90 seconds that I can hold my breath for.

Where you left unsatisfied by Superman IV: The Quest for Peace?

Yes. There's an interesting if long discussion of the new film here, which contains a tidbit of info on why IV was so shite.

    About time

You must watch zero television. What do you do with your time? Btw, has anyone actually heard this being used as a ringtone? I haven't, but I think I don't hang out with enough mobile-owners.

That's a nice venue. Well, I like the layout anyway. And they've a decent size stage. Big enough to swing a double bass. :D Maybe I'll go.
