    Down by law

Fucken awesome. I hate the fact that people talk in hushed tones about Mystery Train/Night On Earth/Ghost Dog when very few have seen 'Law. The only Jarmusch film anyone ever needs to see. It should be shown to children in primary schools. Same goes for Miller's Crossing. Get yer Fargo...

    T-shirt printing

Be aware that the iron on transfers (which you should be able to buy for yourself) show up more on darker T-shirts. You can get coloured ones but matching them to shirts is v.difficult.

Guitars everywhere gently weep as George dies

Never liked the Beatles. And, personally, I think the man's been responsible for some of the most annoying records of the last 15/20 years. However, it is always sad when a fellow human shuffles. (except Mary Whitehouse)

    Black Day for Glasgow

The cafe venue has been a gig doing thing for a while. Just not quite so good. I reckon it'll keep on going. It'll maybe change hands and get corporate, but it'll keep going. When's someone gonna do the same in Dublin? I'm coming over again in a week or so, and I think I need to try harder...

    Black Day for Glasgow

The fact that it's HM Customs and Excise suggests that it's a VAT thing. They can stick you in receivership for as little as £750. Reckon the problem is the fact that they opertate two venues. The cafe with the small gigs and great food couldn't possibly be losing money. The club, however...

    Free Punk Rock 7"

Cheers for the comments! It's actually a double A side. But, most folk tend to fall into preferrring one side to the other. It's quite interesting the way the slit works. Dyed in the wool punks prefer "Tabloid Nazis (Go To Work)!" while them that 'wouldn't normally like that kinda thing'...

    desktop publishing ?

Quark is the beast you want. However, it is a major bit of kit. You'll probabaly find you could do what your looking at with Pagemaker or Freehand. You could probably get a free copy of early versions if you scan old comp mags. You'll definately find cracked versions.

has anyone heard about this? (DKs)

Most of the stuff you'll find is kinda jello-centric. His latest statement is at: http://www.alternativetentacles.com/page.php?page=atlegalfund&sd=97XmOyfpoAXjzgJ-Vy7 There's a good bit on 'Become The Media' about it, which I think is available as an mp3 from AT.
