I love John Carpenter. Halloween made him fantastically rich, and now he doesn't have to worry about making successful movies. This means he can fuck everything and just make the kind of movie that he wants to see. Fortunately, they're usually the same kind of movie I want to see. So yay!

I am completely in love with Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense DVD. The amount of energy being thrown about by the gangly, nerdy David Byrne is hypnotic. And the clothes are deadly too.
