I'm with Johnnyc on Burnout Revenge. That new bit where you could just smash into the car in front without any sort of damage to yourself completely ruined the game for me. Actually... didn't you get boost for doing that too? Fuckin' hell.

I've been dipping in and out of this over the past few days. It's big and dumb and explode-y but I'm having a lot of fun with it. Very cinematic too - some of the set-pieces seem like they're straight out of The Rock or something. Hate the dubbed voices on the FMV though.

I grabbed one of those Shadow of the Colossus demo disks from Game recently. It's only got one of the Colossussessesus, but I must have played that one level about five times already. Ico stands as the only game I've ever played through more than twice. And I'll probably play through it again...

Frank Miller's Hard Boiled is fantastic. The story is good, even though it's all kinda Blade Runner-y, but Geoff Darrow's illustrations are incredible. Loads of little things to pick out.

That Brian Blessed MacGuyver movie was amazing. I was completely hung over when I watched it, and kept dropping in and out of consciousness. And I could still completely follow that movie. It takes a really special movie to be able to pull that shit.
