    Hoover Monday Early Start

It was so good to see Hoover play last nite. It was an amazing gig but kind of strange. For a Hoover reunion tour I would have thought there would be a real air of excitement about the whole thing but there was none at the gig at all. That was the first time I've been to a gig in Voodoo before...

    Order of songs

Best song first, second best song second, third best song last. Mix-up the rest so they flow nicely. Not too many similar tempo songs in a row and if there's any mediocre tracks (which there shouldn't be of course) put them after a much stronger track. I always like albums that finish with a...

    The greatest day ever

Well you'd get your ass cheeks slapped raw round my gaff for saying it. It must be such a sad lonely existence having no sense of humour Pad and Junglebob. Maybe you could get together and form a help group where you quote Friends episodes at each other.

    The greatest day ever

I think my head may explode with excitement. The first three seasons of Seinfeld arrived in the post today! 14hrs 39mins of episodes and 26 hrs of extras. If you're thinking "not another damn Seinfeld thread" well you can never have too much Seinfeld which is what I'm about to prove. I may be...

best song in the world ever, for today at least

Who sang the original warm leatherette? Great song. Went to download it there and there's about 50 cover versions of it.

best song in the world ever, for today at least

Best song today and all week is Joanna Newsom - Sprout and the bean. I (like everyone else I know) thought she sounded ridiculous the first time I heard her. She sings like a little kid that can't pronounce her 'r's but you get used to it especially when the song is as beautiful as this.

More and more bands seem to be using RAT distortion pedals these days. They seem to have a wider range of tone than the boss ones.

    Corsano and Flaherty@Lazybird

WHOA!!!!!! That was completely insane. Two things though. (1) I would have preferred if they had a human drummer. (2) How come the cyborgs drumkit didn't burst into flames?
