Ticketmaster have this ridiculous automated set-up when you ring them. "If you are ringing about a refund, press 1", then you press 1 and it says (basically) "we don't give refunds. This call will automatically end. Goodbye." and it hangs up on you. Had to ring back to get speaking to someone. FFS!

Is it just me or is that whole (non-)story just a publicity stunt for 'Ghost Beach'? (sounds like a band named by a hipster committee).

They don't make it easy via the website. Won't even let you email, have to call during business hours.

Listening to Wondrous Bughouse now. It's really good. Fans of the Lips and Baker-era Mercury Rev should definitely check it out.

My old man's record collection contained some gems. Beatles, Stones, Creedence, Zombies, Nilsson...but he also had a load of bland MOR/folk/classical. Often wondered what he was thinking when he bought the likes of 'Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass' the same year he bought 'Revolver'.

Maybe it was because they were too popular and your folks were music snobs.

Finally arrived today. Small tears on the top of the sleeve and in the slot where the cd is held. The quality of card used for the sleeve is a joke, 'one grade above cornflake box' pretty much sums it up. Shouldn't have bothered making a gatefold if they wanted to cut corners. Bit of a shame...

This still hasn't feckin arrived.

I see, I thought it might mean my FMWYK 12" was worth a fortune.
