    O'erseas?

Jaysus this is great, a little ex-pat society. My posting rate will shoot up now from it's current two a year. Palau would be nice, they did a Survivor from there did they not? I have to make do with Sydney though. Sorry, I should have said south and a bit to the right.

    O'erseas?

I want a typhoon or some smog. I'm sick of sunny days with the odd smattering of refreshing rain.

    O'erseas?

Well I do work odd hours, 9, 11, 1, 3 etc (very strange neurotic company), but I is abroad too, and only several thousand kilometres south of you! Wanna meet up for a coffee some morning?

    O'erseas?

Out of curiosity, and curiosity only, I was just a'wonderin how many non-Eire resident people there are that post on this here board on a sorta regular basis. I don't very often because everybody's in bed when I'm up. And I'm not very interesting. Ehhhhh.... .|..| !!!!!!!

    chalets

Getting quite a bit of airplay on the radio in 'Stralia at the moment are de Chalets. That song with all the cuss words. Unfortunately they are constantly referred to "The Chalets out of the UK". I suppose it's better than being called the "next U2"?

    Warp Records sale

I once sold a white label promo copy of the Elecktroids LP on eBay during a clearout I had. The bleedn thing when for over 80 sterling! I also had 12" promos of the other Drexciyan related Warp releases, Journey Home, Kilohertz and E-Coli which all sold for 30-40 sterling. Some of that old Warp...

    skinny puppy appreciation thread.

Not too impressed with the tracklisting, seems like it might be a bit riffy for my blood. I was never a huge fan of the "metal" stuff they picked up on Rabies (damn you Al Jourgensen!). Still got Smothered Hope on there as the last song though which is good. The extra stuff sounds deadly...

Cat Power with some fancy footwork on the Letterman Show

Bag of hammers eh? How so? Did she wear a pair of y-fronts on her head? Serious question by the way, what was she like?

Cat Power with some fancy footwork on the Letterman Show

Well, most of the backing was the Late Show's resident band, so it could hardly be un-cheesy. Contrary to what most people think, drugs (at least the hard stuff) was never the problem. She had a serious drinking problem and rarely took to the stage sober, partly due to a mammoth obssessive case...

FECK!!! If only I'd had the good sense as a 12 year old to maintain the albums original mint condition I'd have made a killing! http://cgi.ebay.com/complete-panini-mexico-world-cup-1986-sticker-album_W0QQitemZ8821680634QQihZ005QQcategoryZ53667QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    Panini Sticker Album Thread.

I finished the Mehico 86 one. There was a Portugese defender that was my last one and I'd given him up for lost until about 3 months after the World Cup when a guy in school casually mentioned he had him. I traded my 30 odd remaining swapsies for that fella. It was an obssession, I even remember...

    Soundtrack Resource?

Thanks for the help fellas! Indeed I am in doubt that the soundtrack exists in a recorded form. The composer is a Polish guy called Andrezj Korzynski who's done shitloads of stuff, all a bit Polish and obscure though. The best I could find was a Polish music speciality store on the web who have...

    Soundtrack Resource?

There are some deadly soundtracks on that Intoxica site alright, Night Of The Hunter LP with Charles Laughton reading over the music! Shame about the 225 sterling price tag! There used to be a guy in the flea markets across the road from Stephens Green Centre who had shitloads of soundtracks...

    Freight/Shipping from Dublin?

Two requests in one day. Can anybody give me the name of some companies based in Dublin or nearby who could theoretically transport a load of stuff (for example about 20-25 Smirnoff boxes filled with heavy gear like records, books and CDs) across the globe? I'm not intereted in the likes of...

Does anybody know of a good online resource for tracking down rare old soundtracks? Or even for finding out if a particular soundtrack exists at all on CD or LP? Thanks Folks.
