You'd get caught out with that buying cans across the border sometimes too.
It is technically closer to a pint but who knows why. Like the alumunium is probably worth more than the beer.

I've been trying the local craft stuff around here and have narrowed it down to a few that I like. I'm drinking a nice bottle with an episode of the X-Files these days. hashtag lockdownlife

A million craft beers now, true. I read somewhere that the Campaign for Real Ale in the UK was launched by some Brits on holiday in Ireland in the 70s who were dismayed at all the local stuff being driven out by Guinness.

I do love a lot of Irish beer (Galway Bay brewing company and Boyne Valley in particular), but warm flat hand-pumped English cask ale will always have a very special place in my heart.
