Storm (4 Viewers)

today i watched a bunch of prince live videos in the brief time before they'll be taken down from the internet.

then I went to a 30th birthday party and felt miserable and sick and now i'm in bed. oh and I watched derren brown on e4.

not one of my more exciting days

You left the house, so your day was infinitely more exciting than mine.

it was minus 13 when i woke up this morning, and I was sitting on one of these yokes.

I wasn;t actually driving it like. I was more just bouncing up and down a bit and making "mmm" noises appreciatively. But still. I mean it was fierce cold outside. My lips were all chapped too.

i drove from cork to galway and said things like "did someone spill beer back there?" and "right, no more mr bungle!".
got home at 8pm and went straight to bed, deadly.

got up this morning to find the cupholder full of beer :( and beer in my sweets and everything, and pistachio shells everywhere. urgh.

I drove home last night at four and it was snowing. Lads in tshirts and girls in dresses throwing snowballs at each other. Alcohol is great apparently you feel no cold. They also kept hailing my car thinking I was a taxi. It was really funny

letterk, 2.30pm, snow storm hits out of nowhere.
3.30 radio announces that the school buses cant run, its not safe for them to drive.
4.00 every parent in letterkenny tries to drive to the school at once, i'm trying to drive from atlanic homecare to work, without the radio on.
4.20 everyparent in letterk realises that a ford focus is not an ideal vehicle for hill climbing in snow
4.30 complete town in gridlock, completely.
4.40, i'm about 500m from atlantic homecare, coincidentially i have my da's 4x4 for the week, so i'm towing cars up a 50m stretch of hill thats impassible to normal cars, considering the town was frozen it was something to do.
5.40 abandon ship, walk home, have tea
6.20 go back to check on it, no movement at all, towed more guys and taxi'd some old lady home as her petrol ran out. told boy racer i didnt have a rope because he had dopey race tires on his honda civic so it wouldnt move in anydirection
7ish, route from work to flat reopens, got car home. entire journey was 1km.

9.15
snow pretty much gone.
