That gap to fourth place is now so big, so seemingly unbridgeable, that it is almost not worth mentioning. United are a whopping 14 points back from Arsenal with eight games to go for each after today.

Yeah unless we win our game in hand and beat Arsenal at Goodison in which case the gap is 2 points.

Fuck sake, how do these people have jobs ? Oh yeah and by the way Gooners that's how close it is. Feeling nervous ?

Don't be we were fucking shite today.

Yeah, statistically and on every level there's more chance of Arsenal winning the league than Everton coming fourth (ie percentages of zero).

Ball was going wide, shouldn't have been a red card at all. But it really made no difference, Arse can't use that as an excuse. Also, what the fuck was he playing at?

Not really, because Chelski are top and Arsenal don't have to play Chelski at home before the end of the season.

We both have to play City, but we have them on the second last day of the season, by which time they may have nothing to play for.

Still knowing us we'll probably get within 2 points of them and then fall apart like we usually do.

Besides which Arsenal could lose to us and city within the next two weeks and Spurs could be suddenly level with them on points.

It's nowhere near as cut and dry as it's made out to be.

I take it back - you may well be right. Arsenal are the new United, almost.
But I think City will have everything to play for on the second last day of the season.

After the week we've had I was very nervous going into that game, definitely would have taken the point.

Thought we did well in midfield throughout, disrupted city. But did nothing in the last 30 in the first half, looked far more dangerous in the second 45.

Is this it for Arsene? If they don't make the Champions league....is that it? Everton and Liverpool are showing Arsene that it's not all about "financial doping".

I think we're still favourites for fourth given what fixtures are left. We're not playing well at all though, and a battle for fourth is dispiriting after being top of the table for longer than any other team has this season . Only upside was getting Ramsey back, 3 months out and he brought a much higher tempo to the side after he got on.
