I've had that where I wake myself up with a snore and turn to the other person in the bed who is wide awake looking at me.

Having different bedrooms I have to think makes for a happier relationship.

earplugs have revolutionised my nights sleep. himself isn't that bad but having earplugs in is like being in a flotation tank or something, it quiets all the mind madness down

Noisy neighbours. I don't live in the world's best neighbourhood, I get my share of sirens and police helicopters.
Also my window overlooks a neighbour's deck, they are big smokers and are always out having late night chinwags.

I snore like mental..even when I'm awake sometimes.

Soon as I start singing though its powerful

Boots sell the litle foam ones for a few quid. They're grand for blocking out minor noises at night -distant alarms, kids crying, neighbours hammering etc.
