Name That Site (1 Viewer)

So how are we gonna work this out all the legals for this? I mean, I know it's unlikely, but say it turned out the be absolutely wonderful and we started making something out of it.

I believe my role in this enerprise is to be the homosexual, not the lawyer.

I think it's better to get any "legal" shit out of the way very early on, because things can get VERY sticky later. Nobody is thinking this venture is a license to print money (if you do - ahahaha) but we should probably have something set out that we all agree on.

The benefits of coming to an agreement early on means that if people know they're likely to get a fair share of any potential pie, they'll enjoy contributing to the site and put the effort in. If people want to write the odd article once a month and have the odd t-shirt/voucher thrown your way, then that's totally fine. But if you're putting in some hard graft by constantly writing/updating/designing then we'll need to have something set in stone should the cash cow roll into town.

I started the original thread so I own 99% - fair? You lot can fight over the remaining 1% with rusty joypads. Failing to agree on that, I reckon we agree to divide "ownership" of the site equally amongst everyone who will be involved on a regular basis. How many of us are there at the mo... 6 or 7? I'm happy if we all have an equal share, can't say fairer than that?

fucksake I leave work and you jerks power through with and register some porno domain and are talking about cash.

Sounds reasonable enough to me.

content authors retain ownership of their own work?

make it 100% clear up front in case it's handbags at dawn

the only problem is contribution. simply saying 'I'm in' doesn't necessarily mean you'll contribute at a reasonable level. I know this is a bit early for it, but it's something to consider. we should somehow regulate the content contribution and cash etc. just so one person isn't doing everything or a few folks aren't doing jack.

I reckon a few things need to be drafted up before anything moves forward. Johnnnyc is the one who approached us about this so I reckon he should be calling the shots a bit more on how this proceeds. I'm all on for communal contribution, but these things always get sticky.. so some element of hierarchy might be helpful.

anyway, since stan bagsed homosexual.. I'll be the guy who writes bimonthly articles about getting killed at online gaming by some brain fluid leaking retard.
