My parents in 1960. Apparently a few days after this was taken my dad got a flattop, on a dare, of one his friends. There's an old film of him shoveling his brothers car out of the snow and my mom coming home find out he cut his hair. She proceeds to get angry and throw a snowball at him. He retaliates and then tackles her putting her face in the snow as payback. There are handful of 3 minute films of them from around that time and they are fantastic. In one of them, all the guys are standing in a line and it looks like a contest on who has the biggest hair.
