I think a few of us might be going to boh's bar next wednesday for the ireland/france match if its showing in ireland(hopefully),if anyones interested come on down,kick off is 8 o clock.

algeria just need a draw or to lose 1-0
if egypt win by two its a playoff in neutral country
if egypt win by three or more they go to s africa.

80,000 in the stadium, they hate each other and egypt are 1-0 up at half time - couldnt be set up better , well except commentary is in french. lots of appeals for calm going on - apparently last time this scenario happened the egyptians won and their doctor got bottled by an algerian player at the press conference and lost an eye!

Fantastic performance, it really was.
Smaller countries always get a raw deal, funnily enough the ref had had a great game up until then because I've seen the penalty claim they had given pretty often.
Video evidence used in every other sport should be introduced for Football.
