Good Record Shops in Cork??

    Anyone know who or where they are? fortunately i live in Dublin, but is there an equivalent of Tower or Road recs in Cork.

    think the main one is Plugged Records and it's on Washington St...near the cinema? hmm maybe. Shouldn't be too hard to find!

    as gfar as I can tel, plugged is the only good record store, not just the main one..

    virgin in cork is actually pretty good sometimes
    my ma got me isis 'oceanic' for a tenner there and it wasn't even on sale

    ratmonkey from this board went into golden discs on patrick st a couple of years ago looking for a dirty three album only to be told by yer man behind the counter that "we don't do that type of stuff here".

    plugd is cool.

    That FM place beside Eason's is great for Declan Nerney and the like.
    But seriously, I do pity the fools who have to get buses from there, being subjected to that shite all the time, it's bad enough just walking past it.
